Objective: Staples was in search of a fun Halloween themed promotional item to present to Anheuser Busch. The objective of the promotion was to bring attention to their brand during various Halloween themed sponsored events. In addition to a couple of stock items, we came up with a custom Bat shaped Lighted Pendant Necklace as an option. Anheuser Busch loved the custom necklace and decided to place an order for 12,264 units using artwork from both Budweiser and Bud Light.
Execution: The product was shipped to Staples and warehoused. As soon as locations and quantities were provided, Staples then drop-shipped the product to various event locations and handed out to event attendees.
Results: Anheuser Busch was very pleased with the overall promotion. The custom bat shaped necklaces were a hit at the events and they’ve since ordered another set of Lighted Pendant Necklaces ($11,500 worth) for St. Patrick’s Day 2014!
